Pricing questions
Do providers need a subscription to start?
No. Providers can create an account and use the product without subscribing upfront. Billing only applies after monthly completed billable units exceed the free tier.
What is a billable unit?
A billable unit tracks completed lesson usage for platform billing. In normal private-session usage, one unit maps to roughly one completed teaching hour. The app calculates the final billable count automatically.
Does Sessio take a commission from lesson payments?
No. Sessio does not take a marketplace commission or percentage of card, cash, or offline lesson payments such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or bank transfer. Card processing fees are handled by Stripe and are separate from Sessio platform pricing.
Are clients charged by Sessio?
No. Clients may pay their provider for sessions, but clients do not pay Sessio a platform subscription.
Are prices the same outside the United States?
No. US pricing is shown here as the reference model. Sessio uses local-currency regional pricing for launch countries so pricing better matches local purchasing power.
