For Professionals

Is Sessio a marketplace?

No. Sessio does not publish public profiles, match you with strangers, or take a percentage of your revenue. You invite your own clients. You keep your own relationships. You control your pricing.

How does Sessio help me grow my business?

Sessio supports organic, referral-based growth. Your clients can join structured lessons, bring friends to try sessions, and participate in group lessons. Growth happens through your existing network — not through algorithm-driven exposure.

Does Sessio take a commission on my lessons?

No. Sessio does not take a percentage of card, cash, or offline lesson payments such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or bank transfer. If your usage exceeds the free tier, we bill a flat fee after the fact — not based on what you earn.

How do I set my availability?

Use the Availability tab to add and manage bookable time slots. You can set lesson defaults, publish private or group availability, and keep your schedule organized as your practice changes.

How do recurring sessions work?

A provider can publish weekly recurring time slots, and clients can book some or all of those sessions to reserve their spot. During the series, either side can make supported changes such as cancellation when needed; Sessio keeps the upcoming, completed, canceled, refund-needed, and refunded sessions organized in the Sessions tab.

Does Sessio send notifications and receipts?

Yes. Sessio sends push notifications for important booking, cancellation, and payment updates when notifications are enabled. Email receipts are sent after completed paid sessions.

How do I invite clients?

The easiest way is QR code scanning: show your client your Sessio invite QR code and they can scan it to connect. Sessio also supports email invites from the Clients tab.

Is there a limit on how many clients I can have?

No. All tiers — including the free tier — include unlimited clients.

For Clients

How do I book a session?

Your coach, instructor, or trainer invites you to connect on Sessio. Once connected, you view their available time slots and book directly. No browsing, no searching — just your provider's real-time availability.

What payment methods are supported?

Card payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or manual entry), cash, or provider-approved offline payment methods such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or bank transfer. Your provider chooses what they accept.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes. Cancel from the booking detail screen. If a refund is eligible, card refunds are handled through Stripe. Offline refunds are handled by the provider outside Stripe and tracked in Sessio.

Does Sessio sync with my calendar?

Yes. Enable Calendar Sync in Settings to copy confirmed sessions to your iOS or Android device calendar, or connect Google or Outlook when available.

Will I get booking notifications and receipts?

Yes. Sessio can send push notifications for important booking, cancellation, and payment updates. For paid sessions, email receipts are sent after the session is completed.

Payments

Does Sessio touch my money?

No. Card payments go directly to your instructor via Stripe Connect. Cash and offline payments such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or bank transfer happen outside Stripe between you and your provider; Sessio only tracks the payment status when that flow is used.

What if I prefer cash or another offline payment method?

That's completely fine. Sessio supports provider-approved cash and offline payment tracking, such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or bank transfer. You are not required to use Stripe unless your provider requires card payment.

Is my payment information secure?

All card payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Sessio never stores card details.

How is provider platform pricing calculated?

Provider platform pricing is based on completed billable units in the billing period and billed retroactively. There is no upfront payment. Stay within the free tier and the platform fee is $0. Every core feature is available regardless of tier.

What devices does Sessio support?

iOS, Android, and the web. Your data syncs across all devices.

Who owns my data?

You do. You retain ownership of your lesson data, client relationships, and profile content. Sessio provides infrastructure — not control over your business.

Is Sessio available in my language?

Sessio currently launches in English-speaking countries with English support. Additional localized marketing pages will come later.
